Duncan Buck is a Senior Managing Director, having joined Continuum in April 2024 from Fenchurch Advisory Partners. Duncan has over 25 years M&A experience, including being a founder of Lexicon Partners in 2000. Following the sale of Lexicon Partners to Evercore in 2011, Duncan moved from Evercore to Fenchurch Advisory Partners where he was a Senior Managing Director and Executive Vice Chairman. Prior to founding Lexicon Partners, Duncan commenced his M&A career at The Phoenix Partnership which was acquired by Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in 1997.
Before specialising in M&A, Duncan worked at Arthur Andersen for 5 years in the Financial Markets and Business Consulting divisions. Duncan has a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter and is a Chartered Accountant.
Duncan is responsible for originating and leading transactions across the financial services sector, with a particular focus on insurance. Duncan is a highly experienced strategic board adviser with a track record of over 100 public and private M&A and refinancing transactions.
