Karen joined Continuum Advisory Partners as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in 2023. Karen’s expertise encompasses M&A, value creation through integration and business transformation and finance.
Karen began her career at Deloitte Corporate Finance and then moved to GSK as Corporate Development Director, working on strategic growth initiatives. She joined Aegis Group plc in 2008 as M&A Director then became Global Head of M&A and quickly became an essential part of the company’s mission to transform into an international digital media powerhouse through acquisition. Four years and c.100 acquisitions later, Aegis was acquired by Dentsu Inc. and Karen continued the M&A mission, now widened to aggressively grow the business through international acquisition in key sectors such as eCommerce and CRM.
Passionately believing that Dentsu’s M&A could deliver significantly more value through the careful creation and disciplined operationalisation of business plans, Karen created Dentsu’s M&A Integration Framework in her role as Global Head of Integration. With the M&A and Integration team at 30 and more than 200 acquisitions in the portfolio since joining, Karen was ready for her final challenge at Dentsu as Finance Director, Commercial Finance and Global Strategic Projects.
Karen is a Chartered Accountant and a dedicated working mum who loves connecting with people.
