John has had a long and successful career in Financial Services.
He trained as a Chartered Accountant and spent nearly 20 years at Neville Russell (now Mazars) where he became Senior Partner in 1991.
John went on to join Benfield Group (now part of Aon) as Chief Financial Officer, a position he held for 15 years until 2009.
He joined the Board of Argenta Syndicate Management Limited in 2009 as Chairman and has held a number of other City-based directorships as well as substantial interests in the charitable sector.
